What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored by the browser. Local and session storage can also remember a setting or prevent a page view from being counted twice.
Cookies and storage used
| Name | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| lp_cookie_consent | Remember privacy choices | Strictly necessary | 6 months |
| theme (local storage) | Remember light or dark theme | Functional | Until removed |
| lp_like_visitor | Remember a like after an explicit click | Functional | 12 months |
| _ga and _ga_* | Google Analytics audience measurement | Analytics | Up to 13 months, after consent |
Accept, reject or change your choice
Strictly necessary storage remains active. The first-party counter, limited to anonymous statistics and using no analytics cookie, operates independently of this choice. Google Analytics starts only after consent. Accept and reject are equally accessible. Your choice is kept for six months and can be changed at any time.
Advertising
Google AdSense is not loaded until a Google-certified consent management platform is configured. This version therefore places no AdSense advertising cookies.
Browser settings
You can also remove or block cookies in your browser. Blocking functional storage may prevent the theme or like state from being remembered.
